Pantera's seventh full length album, originally released in 1994 through EastWest Records America. This is one of their most commercially successful albums, becoming one of the first heavy metal albums to top the charts in the US and Australia.

"Far Beyond Driven" reached Number 1 in the Billboard Top 200 and produced four singles:
"I'm Broken"
"Planet Caravan" (which is a cover of Black Sabbath)
"5 Minutes Alone"
"Becoming"

Its first single, "I'm Broken", earned the band's first Grammy nomination for "Best Metal Performance" in 1995.

The album's original artwork (a drill bit impaling an anus) was banned, so it was re-released with the now familiar skull impaled with a drill bit.
